I only used that encoder (x264) the very first time. Im using a 64 bit version of Windows 7 and the 64 bit version of Mediacoder, a quadcore 2.8 Ghz AMD CPU and 4 GB RAM.
Figured you could compare them to yours, but from what you said in your last post, we're doing the same thing but you're getting results and I'm only getting error 14 messages every time. I was going to post a couple of screen shots here but I don't see any settings that would enable me to do that. Its not as versatile as the two programs mentioned above, but as for a video conversion software, Xilisoft can satisfy most of your conversion. I've gone over my settings again and again and I can't see anything wrong. Its a good choice for you to use HandBrake for Mac as the MediaCoder Alternative for Mac.
I'm just about ready to give up on Mediacoder.
